Hi, I'm Jacob.
I build websites for a living, and after working across a few different industries I kept coming back to therapy, counselling and coaching practices. It's a niche with real, specific needs that a generic template just doesn't respect, from the ethics around testimonials to the nerves someone feels before they've even booked a first session.
My background is in SEO and marketing, most recently with the marketing team at Boots Opticians. ROOTED exists to take this work seriously: a website that looks distinct to each practice, built efficiently enough to stay affordable, without cutting corners on the things that help a client say yes.

Sharing your practice online can feel exposing, so every build starts from your actual voice and works outward, never from a stock layout with your name dropped in. Ethics Built In
Your site is built inside the ethical boundaries this profession works within, so nothing gets published that could put your accreditation at risk. From testimonials to data handling, we understand what BACP, UKCP, NCPS and ICF members can and can't say, so you don't have to explain it.

The Starter Website usually takes around two weeks once content is gathered, and the Expanded Website takes around four. We'll confirm a realistic timeline on your discovery call.

Yes. Once your site is live and paid for, it's yours, hosted wherever you choose.

We can set both up for you, or work with hosting and a domain you already have. Either way, it's explained plainly, not left as a technical afterthought.

Small text and image changes, yes, and we'll show you how. Larger structural changes are best left to us, or covered under the optional care plan.

Client enquiry and booking details are handled in line with UK data protection law, and never used for anything beyond arranging your sessions.

Usually, yes. If your needs grow beyond your original package, we'll talk through what upgrading looks like rather than starting over.
